Its’ focus is the development of and execution of strategies to ensure GTCL remains compliant with all requirements and regulatory obligations, formulates and drives the external affairs strategy for the business and builds relationships with stakeholders in line with external affairs priorities.
The role is also responsible for bringing business policies alive including Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Privacy, Anti-Money Laundering and Competition Law.
Core competencies, knowledge and experience • Understanding of regulation and legal principles • Understanding of public policy and strategic positioning • Awareness of the external environment and Government processes • Understanding of privacy and competition law Must have technical /professional qualifications.
• Knowledge of telecoms industry • Experience of formulating public affairs framework towards strategic shift in policy.
