About the role   We are looking for a RD&A Savoury manager to lead the savoury development and application team for the South Europe Region.
The successful candidate will be based in our Customer Co-creation centre in Barcelona.
Key responsibilities   Leading the RD&A Savoury team including Meat, Savoury Snacks and “Prepared Meals Soups Sauces and dressing” for South Europe region.
Being an active leader within the Mainland Europe RD&A leadership team.
Managing and delivering the RD&A pipeline for Savoury category including Meat, Savoury Snacks and “Prepared Meals Soups Sauces and dressing” for South Europe region   Partnering closely within the broader RD&A community to ensure seamless execution on customer requirements and ensure resource to lead opportunities.
Partnering closely within sales, technology business development and marketing community to ensure seamless strategy execution.
Partnering with the Foundational technology teams to validate and promote Foundational technologies within the region, ensuring fit for purpose data to drive credibility in our technologies and identifying areas for focus to drive growth in line with the strategy.
Ownership of the D&A sEUM Mainland Europe strategy   Ensuring Collection offer is fit for purpose and identify gaps where required.
Qualifications and skills   People management skills   Food technology background  More than 8 years’ experience in the food savoury industry (Meat, savoury snacks, Prepared Meals Soups Sauces and dressing)  Customer facing experience  Market / technology experience  Project management and organisational skills  Team working - work and collaboration with other team members within D&A and with key stakeholders.
Capability to lead through others  Strong communication skills to engage different stakeholders within organisation and with customers  Competent in IT application  Good commercial awareness and market focus  Nice to have.
Experience in managing team remotely  Technical expertise in savoury taste technologies  Soft skills.
Efficient time management and organisation Self motivated Ability to engage external & internal stakeholders   Ability to work under pressure to ensure deadlines are met Strategic mindset   Beware of scams online or from individuals claiming to represent us.
