**Job Description** Within our Transport Department, we are looking to hire a new colleague with previous experience in the design of Signalling systems to support the growth of our great Railway Systems Engineering team.
As **_Railway Signaling Engineer_** you will delivery multiple international projects based in our beautiful offices in Madrid (enjoying some days of remote work weekly).
**Some of your duties in the role:** + Develops signalling systems schemes, specifications and interfaces with other systems.
+ Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.
+ Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high-quality cost-effective work by others.
+ Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
+ Provide advice on good engineering practice, potential solutions, railway standards and legislation.
**Qualifications** We are looking for a professional who holds a Bachelor or Master's Degree in Engineering.
+ Technical knowledge of train control technology.
Communication Based Train Control (CBTC), European Rail Traffic Management System (ERTMS / ETCS).
+ Familiar with the signalling principles such as Automatic Train Control and Automatic Train Operation under various Grades of Automation.
ATC, ATO, DTO, UTO.
+ Application of applicable standards (railway standards, Spain and EU Rail Regulations).
+ Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
+ Fluent English language, written and spoken.
Other languages will be a plus.
