QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST

We celebrate success, invest in health and wellbeing initiatives as well as professional development programs designed to unlock potential.POSITION OVERVIEW• Manage the Quality system (SOPs), making sure it is complete and consistent in Europe (production plants and R&D Center).• Responsible of the validation and evaluation of suppliers and third party manufacturers (TPMs).• Lead initiatives in terms of the Quality Management System, in partnership with the Quality team in the USA.ESSENTIAL, DUTTIES & RESPONSABILITIES - Propose and implement potential initiatives of the Quality Management System, not limited to the quality function.- Establish and implement cGMP requirements.- Ensure cGMP Compliance and prepare and execute necessary training.- Write, execute and review all documentation related to the Quality Management System and keep it updated, and/or give support to the necessary functions for this purpose in Cornellà.- Train personnel on the Quality documentation system.- Evaluate and validate suppliers and TPMs.- Carry out internal audits (intercompany plants) and external audits to suppliers and TPMs.- Provide assistance to audits of our facilities by health authorities and other third parties or customers.- Manage and investigate Quality incidents and out of spec (OOS) as well as external complaints.- Manage Corrective & Preventive Action (CAPA) investigation.- Timely management of the internal and customer complaints, to assure the necessary investigations have been made, and the necessary CAPA is applied and verified.- Provide Support on product recalls or retrievals.- Provide Support on the Change Management System.- Participate actively in the purchase of new equipment regarding hygienic design and in the improvement/replacement of the design of current systems.- Provide Support and review documentation regarding qualification of equipment, services and systems.- Manage calibration of measurement, test and control devices.- Participate on the QA activities during new developments, transfers or insourcings.- Cooperate with the other validation team members on CAPA.- Tasks listed on the SOP-QA-003.EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONEducation• University degree in technical discipline.• Proficient in English and Spanish.• Knowledge of Quality Standards.• GMP/FDA knowledge.• Knowledge of TQM methodology and processes management. Experience• Minimum 4 years experience in developing and maintaining a Quality system as well as experience in sanitization in the food, cosmetic or pharma business.COMPETENCIES• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to identify root-cause, recommend options, prioritize and implement appropriate solutions.• Must have people skills and Team Work.• Computer skills (SAP, …)• Autonomous.• Auditor of Quality Systems.• Ability to travel as needed to support Revlon business initiatives.• Real experience hands-on in production processes.•Experience in direct contact with customers.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
