Within the next year, Volvo will be producing the all-electric EX90, right here in Charleston.
We need  YOU  to help us make this happen!   What’s in it for you? The Production Supervisor is responsible for coaching and developing team leaders and team members in a manufacturing environment.
This position is responsible for the assignment of prerequisites for their team to do their work and achieve targets by acting as a coach and an enabler.
Position is for second shift but will start as first shift.
What you will do.
Ensure your team clearly understands the company direction and their roles in supporting this through effective usage of the Policy Deployment process (mission, vision, safety, strategy, targets) Be responsible for developing and running the Performance Management System for your teams by demonstrating effective use of core competencies Requirements.

required, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred Must have proven Leadership experience Extensive knowledge of Paint production process Strong attention to detail Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to work in a team environment Availability to work any shift (weekends, holidays, and overtime) The ability to read and interpret manufacturing specifications or work instructions   Basic Skills.
