MARSH Europe Executive Management Team is seeking candidates for the following position, which can be based in any European country.
Placement and Policy Servicing Leader What can you expect.
You will lead the Marsh Europe Placement and Policy Servicing Operations teams, comprising of more than 600 colleagues based in office across Europe.
This is fantastic opportunity to lead the Europe Placement and Policy Servicing Operations team of the world’s leading Insurance Broker, across our Specialty, Corporate & Risk Management businesses.
You will be leading the team through a transformation journey, helping to develop our target operating model, and driving better Client outcomes and greater efficiency through deployment of digital technology.
You will work closely with our Placement Brokers and client teams to deliver an end-to-end Claims service to Marsh’s global clients.

Provide vision, leadership, and strategic direction to over 600 Placement and Policy Servicing Operations colleagues, working virtually across several countries in Europe, operating as a hands-on leader, ensuring the achievement of established goals.
Oversee the development and delivery of the target state Placement and Policy Servicing  Operations organization and leverage proven operational design principles to define the Placement and Policy Servicing strategy, optimize location footprint, and manage annual budget.
Take a “Client First” approach to placement and policy servicing management, execute on a Placement and Policy Servicing Operations vision and set of priorities that are aligned with business and customer needs, maintain and develop strong relationships with regional and country placement broking teams to drive changes in claims operations within the firm.
Lead the digital transformation of our Placement and Policy servicing process, ensuring our processes and technology deliver the best outcomes for clients, drive a bold and innovative vision to transform supporting the delivery of the Operational Excellence (OpEx) agenda.
Challenge existing practices and develop innovative solutions related to departmental risks, operational controls, and efficiency initiatives to contribute to effective management of shared operations.
Provide oversight for implementing optimal role-cost-location alignment within the region/country through workflow management systems, centres of excellence.
Own the delivery of a best-in-class operational function in placement and policy servicing, developing the right performance metrics to enable effective controls, leading efforts to improve processing efficiency across the region, and designing and evaluating claims operations processes and strategies while managing the impact and delivery of change to achieve team operational goals and maximize process efficiencies across regions.
Ensure that the Placement and Policy Servicing Operations target state operating model supports Marsh’s wider data strategy.
What you need to have.
Strong track record in a senior leadership role and influencing skills with experience of acting as a change agent in the insurance industry within the European market.
Proven experience of leading digital transformation programs in multicultural markets across Europe.
Scaled Agile experience preferred but not essential.
Ability work collaboratively across a matrix organization.
