PHP ENGINEER (ONSITE)

Are you looking for a the opportunity to join a small yet dynamic team building a SaaS solution, with a micro services architecture in PHP and Laravel? Are you a collaboration oriented professional who thrives in environments in which you are offered autonomy and the ability to contribute to the technical discussion? Are you open to working onsite, with a small team, supporting in not just the development of software but also in that of other team members as well? If you answered yes to all three then we're happy to connect and see if this role might fit what you're looking for.As a senior Backend Engineer you will be leveraging your past experience with PHP, and Ideally Laravel as well, to help develop a travel tech system built on a microservices architecture. We're looking for people who are capable and competent enough to work both independently, as well as within a team, and who like to exercise ownership over their work.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate on all phases of the development solutions, from conception to delivery.Build robust software with a focus on dynamic scalability.Focus on continuously improving the way we work by offering up innovative ideas for improvements aimed at impacting the scalability, performance and availability of our solutions.Support in the creation of tools or implementations of methodologies aimed at improving the way our team collaborates, with each other as well as with other teams and external parties.Proactively work on projects which will reduce bugs and improve production environments.Must haves (Required)5+ years of experience working in similar roles, with at least 3 years of PHP.Ample experience working with MySQL (or similar DB tool).Experience working in environments with structured code.Experienced working in Git enabled environments (Github, Bit Bucket, Gitlab, etc).Be able and willing to work onsite in Sant Cugat (4 days)Nice to Haves (Bonus)Experience working with an MVC backend framework like; Laravel or Codeigniter.Experience or knowledge of LAMP stack.
