Founded in 1884 in Switzerland, Omya has a global presence extending to more than 160 locations in over 50 countries with 9,000 employees.We are looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our team in Barcelona! 🌟In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative assistance to the HR department and maintaining accurate employee information according to the supervisor's directions and within the department's policies and procedures.👉 As a Payroll Specialist, you will have the following key accountabilities:Documents managementManage employee life cycle by maintaining employee records so that information is accurate and secure.Request and collection of all documents to do the contract. (To be sent to our external supplier).Data managed may include personal information; job history; early retirement, retirement and insurance documentation; time leave accrual records; and details of illness, absences, transfers, and salary progression.PayrollMonthly Collection of incidences.2 collective agreements involving plant operations and offices. (350 people).Support from an external Supplier for payroll confection.AdministrationComplete, check, and process HR-related forms and documents in accordance with established guidelines so that HR-related matters are administered quickly and accurately.Forms may include applications for holidays or leave of absence; workers’ compensation or insurance claims; or social security; immigration documentation f. e. work permit, visa application etc. or other government forms.Employee SupportRespond to enquiries and assist employees and managers to complete HR-related forms to ensure that the information provided is accurate and complete.👉 Requirements:EducationUniversity Degree or equivalent experience.ExperiencePrior experience in administration or Human Resources function (up to 2 years)Knowledge and skillsExcel AdvancedGood interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of staffAbility to maintain confidential information.Good level of English.👉 What do we offer?• Hybrid work model• Ticket restaurant• 30 labor days of holidays• Language lessons in company• Medical insurance 50% subsided by the company for employees and the possibility to integrate family members at a very good price.• Open and modern office environment• International environment with more than 25 different nationalitiesIf you’re passionate about human resources and love working in a dynamic, multicultural environment, we’d love to meet you!
