They enhance security tools, guide Tier 1 Analysts, and proactively defend against advanced threats, fortifying client defenses and preserving critical infrastructure and reputation.Key responsibilities:The professional will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our network infrastructure.Must demonstrate capability to provide technical support related to WAF, proxies, reverse proxies, and Anti DDoS systems among other technologiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential risks, conduct security assessments, and contribute to the development and enforcement of cybersecurity policiesCoordinate with SOC team members and contribute to security work instructionsInteracts with customer & meets with support teams and 3rd partiesCollaborate with SOC team members to create and update incident response playbooks that outline step-by-step processes for responding to various types of security incidentsDocument investigation notes and findings in a clear and organized mannerElaborate detailed reports creation on incident investigations, including recommended remediation actionsRequired Skills:Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and industry standardsIn-depth understanding of WAF (Web Application Firewall), proxy, reverse proxy, and Anti DDoS technologiesDemonstrable experience in incident detection, response, and mitigationFamiliarity with network security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systemsUnderstanding of threat landscapes and the ability to stay updated on the latest security trendsProficient in configuring and managing WAF, proxy, reverse proxy, and Anti DDoS solutionsStrong troubleshooting skills related to network security issuesExcellent communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external vendorsAbility to communicate in writing and verbally in both Spanish and EnglishAnalytical mindset for identifying and resolving security vulnerabilitieAbility to work under pressure and respond effectively to security incidentsA minimum of 3 years of experience in in a similar role within cybersecurity and networking roles is required, with a specific focus on the L2 level.
