We are part of Mercury Systems Inc., a US based company.Due to an increase in our activities, we are looking for new talent to join our Operations team in Getafe, Madrid.MISSIONThe Material Planner is responsible for the management and coordination of our internal and external planning process through organizing, executing to ensure the delivery of high-quality results to meet internal requirements, in alignment with projects and company goals. This position will have cross-functional collaboration, including communication and coordination with employees at all levels of the organization.Successful candidates pay meticulous attention to details, are well organized, and excel in planning, Work Order analysis & accuracy, deliveries preparation & tracking.POSITION SUMMARYDevelop & lead S&OP process cycle: define meetings calendars, organize, and run meetings, prepare presentations and working documents to support manufacturing operations and sales process owners.Support the S&OP process by collecting, transforming, and analyzing data. Managing load leveling with NPI and production and bottleneck scheduling.Ensure manufacturing steps of S&OP process: capacity reviews, procurement reviews.Coordinate and consolidate supply inputs for tactical steering.Identify core supply and capacity risks; evaluate demand and supply scenarios, develop contingencies, and execute mitigation efforts.Partner with site leadership (Functional staff, engineering, accounting & Human Resources) to account for agreed actions used for mitigation of risk and opportunities identified by S&OP.Plan & release Work Orders in line with customer orders, Manufacturing lead time and deliveries.Optimizing planning by levelling the load in both site shop floor (chassis assembly/test & SMD shop).Anticipate and mitigate risks from capacity, supplier deliveries… to keep highest standard of customer satisfaction.Strong relation and communication with Sales operations.SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEMinimum 3 years of experience in the Supply Chain / LogisticsBachelor Degree (Business, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Sciences or Engineering)Strong influencing skills and experience in dealing with senior managementStrong numerical and analytical skills & Excel skillsVery good ERP knowledge (ideally Oracle)APICS certification preferredFluent in English, French is a plusAbility to communicate effectively, both written and orally at all organization levelsAbility to interact with multi-disciplined professionals to understand and make necessary tradeoffs and decisionsHigh resilience and ability to work in a challenging and very dynamic environmentSkill capabilities to communicate with other expertise team and coordinate cross activities We are offering:Flexibility to work from home.Social benefits as tickets restaurant, health insurance.Flexible working hours.Parking at the office.Free coffee and fruit.Projects with high level of complexity.Continuous learning and development opportunities.Well-being platform.Inclusive culture.Mentorship program.High responsibility and autonomy to make an impact.Why to join MercuryMercury Systems is the leader in making trusted, secure mission-critical technologies profoundly more accessible to the aerospace and defense industries.
