LEARNING & PERFORMANCE BP - LEADERSHIP

Overview •    Partner with assigned business units to develop and implement talent and development priorities enabling performance, potential and agility.
•    Build trusted relationships with the HRBPs and assigned business units leadership teams, balancing the need to support as well as challenge, ensuring you are sought out for your expertise.
•    Responsible for designing strategies to ensure we have the appropriate future focused skills and talent to meet the business units strategic priorities.
What you'll do Talent Development.
•    Responsible for implementing the talent strategic priorities within the business.
•    Responsible for talent reviews within function, providing talent expertise to support and challenge the application of our talent identification within function and ensure it is consistent and fair.
•    Work alongside the business and HRBPs to increase our talent agility, by broadening our identification and view of talent across the business.
•    Embed a talent culture within assigned business units through the delivery of our talent strategic priorities throughout the year.
•    Work with the Resourcing team to spot opportunities to develop the careers of the talent within your business units to move vertically, laterally and horizontally across the organisation.
•    Mitigate the risk of attrition for our senior and critical roles by having appropriate succession plans and remedial actions in place to address any potential risks alongside Resourcing.
•    Design, build and deliver appropriate skills development programmes (upskill and reskill) to develop Future Ready skills ensuring measurable return on investment and ensuring that nobody is left behind.
•    Identify opportunities to connect people with the skills that matter most to share learning, to build curiosity and connect with talent externally.
•    Partner with HRBPs and the BU functions to understand their leadership development requirements, translating this demand into a prioritised set of products and solutions, in partnership with the Leadership AOE.
•    Identify any people management development requirements specifically for your business units and implement relevant interventions to address these.
•    Drive a learning culture within assigned business units, ensuring high level of attendance and feedback for the learning events that will be delivered within your business units throughout the year.
Ensure that there is a high number of learning hours per person completed within your business units including online learning completions.
•    Identify opportunities to support the development of skills through the skills mobility programme, sharing skills with other markets and maximising knowledge share of incoming skills mobility individuals.
•    Build a culture of high performance within business units, identifying and implementing appropriate strategies for the management of top and underperformers throughout the year, ensuring performance metrics are met.
•    Responsible for organising, implementing and leading the delivery of the quarterly PD review process for assigned business units.
Ensuring the necessary follow up actions are implemented throughout the year.
•    Identify opportunities to upskill people leaders to ensure that there is a feedback culture, and they are holding effective performance coaching conversations.
•    Responsible for ensuring goals have been set each quarter, embedding both the ‘what’ and ‘how’    •    Lead an assigned talent and development people process throughout the year e.

Work with colleagues through the T&D team, HR and business to ensure that all necessary outcomes and targets are met.
•    Implement agile ways of working to ensure the necessary co-functional HR and business representatives can shape the design and delivery at speed.
What you need •    You will have a deep expertise in either the Talent or Learning & Development area.
•    You will have proven experience in building and developing strong trusted partnerships with business leaders and HRBPs.
•    Excellent Strategic thinking – connecting the dots, and seeing longer term impact.
•    Project management skills  •    You will be resilient and experienced in working in large organisations.
•    You will have considerable experience in the design of learning and/or talent development initiatives.
•    You will have demonstrable experience in providing thought leadership within your area of expertise.
•    You have experience in utilising and experimenting with digital technologies to drive adoption and efficiency.
•    You will have the ability to influence strategically up, down and across the organisation.
•    You will be obsessed with the employee experience ensuring high levels of employee retention and engagement.
•    You will use external and internal insights to design experiences that can differentiate us from our competitors to ensure we are Future Ready.
•    You will be dynamic and curious as to how you can improve business performance and agility through talent and learning & development.
