As our Innovation & BD&L Head, besides your responsibilities as people manager, you will also play an important role in the contribution to our journey towards improvement and innovation.
You will do so by representing Novartis both internally and externally, and leading our innovation initiatives by strategically crafting our innovation framework and promoting the engagement towards an innovation culture in the company.
About the Role Location.
Madrid or Barcelona #LI-Hybrid Key Responsibilities.
Responsible for defining and implementing a cross-functional strategic approach to innovation across Novartis Spain that delivers functional solutions that drive a scalable and tangible impact.
Deliver innovation methodologies and culture across the organization.
Responsible for managing the Established Medicines portfolio P&L, identifying key opportunities to optimize performance.
Responsible for BD&L at local level, in close collaboration with the business units and region/global teams Provide ‘Thought Leadership’ abilities and expertise in shaping innovative approaches (e.
.
new commercial models) to Brands and / or New Product strategies in order to drive focus and growth.
Be a spokesperson for Novartis in external forums related to innovation and BD&L.
Develop partnerships, collaborations and projects with other industrial partners or institutions.
Leading the team of Innovation and BD&L.
Essential requirements.
People management experience is vital, and experience managing diverse multi-functional teams is an advantage.
BD&L and/or direct P&L management experience.
Proven experience working with Global and Regional teams.
Knowledge of innovation frameworks and the innovation landscape, preferably in Spain.
Ability to understand changing dynamics of Pharmaceutical industry, with an outside-in perspective.
Capacity to navigate complexity and to drive effectiveness across the function and in collaboration with other functions, change management.
Prior experience in joint value creation with external stakeholders and holding positions that require external communication.
Fluent speaker of English and Spanish languages.
