Job SummaryThe InflightServices Coordinator plays a crucial role in coordinating catering operations and inflight services on the ground to ensure the seamless delivery of services to passengers and flight crew. They oversee catering logistics, coordinate with vendors, and manage inflight service equipment to support the efficient operation of flights.Key Responsibilities: (job duties and responsibilities)Coordination: Coordinate catering services for scheduled flights, including meal planning, menu selection, and order placement with catering vendors. Ensure that catering orders are accurately prepared, packed, and delivered to the aircraft in a timely manner to meet flight departure schedules.Planning and Dietary Requirements: Collaborate with catering vendors and flight crews to develop inflight menus that cater to diverse dietary preferences and restrictions of passengers. Ensure that special meal requests and dietary accommodations are accurately communicated to catering providers and properly documented for inflight service.Logistics: Manage the logistical aspects of catering operations, including inventory management, stock rotation, and storage of inflight service items and catering supplies. Coordinate with ground handling agents and logistics providers to facilitate the efficient loading and unloading of catering supplies onto aircraft.Equipment Management: Oversee the maintenance and inventory of inflight service equipment, including food service carts, beverage trolleys, and galley supplies. Ensure that all inflight equipment is properly cleaned, sanitized, and stocked with necessary items for inflight service.Assurance: Conduct regular quality checks and inspections of catering supplies, food items, and inflight service equipment to ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards. Address passenger inquiries, complaints, and feedback related to catering and inflight services in a prompt and professional manner.Requirements: (required qualifications, required skills, languagues, preferred qualifications)degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field; or equivalent work experience in catering, airline operations, or hospitality industry.experience in catering coordination, inflight services, or ground handling operations within the aviation industry preferred.organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders, including vendors, airline personnel, and passengers.in Microsoft Office applications and catering management software systems.of food safety regulations, airline catering standards, and inflight service procedures.hours 9 to 18
