INFORMATION SECURITY SPECIALIST

Hello there! We’re Vodafone Intelligent Solutions (also known as _VOIS) and we’re looking for a   Information Security Specialist (Maternity Cover) Your role in a nutshell.
This role is part of the centralised Cyber Security team within Vodafone Shared Services (VOIS).
The Cyber Security Manager develops the Cyber Security strategy at VSS level consistently across all 7 locations including Hungary, Romania, Egypt and India.
The role specifies clear guidelines for handling business critical information and ensures adherence to these guidelines by monitoring the day-to-day operation of VOIS and reviewing and implementing new technical solutions to minimize security risk.
Purpose is to make sure the Vodafone Cyber security strategy, policies and controls are effectively implemented.
This will be measured using the Cyber Security Baseline (CBS) and effective risk reduction.
What you'll do.
Develop global Information Security policies, procedures and standards across the entire VSS organisation  Manage Global security / compliance Infosecurity projects e.

GDPR and Pivacy with Group and local stakeholder,  Coordinate local Infosecurity teams in all locations for technical security controls implementation Identify and mitigate proactively Information Security and Data Protection risks in alignment with Privacy  and corporate security Teams Responsible for central VOIS Infosecurity risk management and KPIs reporting  Review technical solution designs for compliance with the VOIS-wide Information Security policies  Follow-up and resolve open issues identified through internal and external Information Security audits   What you will bring to the team.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex and technical security matters and influence stakeholders.
Hands on experience in managing Information Security related roles Practical experience of designing, implementing and operating Information Security policies in a complex IT and Network environment  Practical experience in Risk Management related to Information Security  Strong knowledge of Information Security technologies such as IDPS, WAF, Firewalls, DDoS, UAC, DAM, Anti-spam, Anti-Malware, SIEM   In return we provide you with.
