To coordinate the planning, design, prototyping and testing for chain components development and component design for customer applications 2.
Define technical solutions by preparing technical elements of proposals 3.
Supporting the supplier development team for technical reviews, to finalize designs and for supplier validations 4.
To participate in the development of new products and concepts 5.
To perform group activities as global team member Principal Accountabilities / Responsibilities Engineering lead of customer programs Communication with customer Develop product specification / SOR with customer Support BW engineering teams and ensure that all specification requirements are met on time Support localization of components and modules Preparation of presentations and present materials of design related items to customer Documentation of project related engineering data Support cost reduction activities Support product improvement initiatives Support production facilities and ensure that product meets production requirements Support initiatives to obtaining new business / customers Requirements / Qualifications Bachelor degree in Mechanical/Automotive/Mechatronics Engineering, Master would be a plus Min.
3 years experiences in development of products in automotive industry Experience with working with Local Chinese Automotive OEM customers (preferred) Self-assurance, good communications skills Microsoft Office, CAD operation preferable English.
