Role: Head of Finance & Planning - HealthTech Start-upSalary: up to €80k & share optionsLocation: Barcelona (hybrid)Summary:Our client, a rapidly growing HealthTech start-up, is on a mission to humanise the healthcare experience for doctors, patients, and clinics through their stress-free and seamless administrative services. A leader in 13 countries supporting millions of patients and doctors, our client has also been recognised a Great Place to Work 2 years running.We have a great opportunity for a Finance & Planning Manager to lead, define, develop and implement the local finance strategy. Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with GTM Managers and different global teams. Due to the seniority and scope of the role we are looking for a Finance generalist, somebody who is familiar with all F&A functional areas, including reporting, controlling, accounting, tax, labour etc.As Head of Finance & Planning, you will be in charge of bringing leadership and excellence to the following functions: Finance (reporting, forecasting and tax filings), PX services (HR admin/labor), Office management and Business Analytics, while meeting Group standards in a company heading to IPO.Responsibilities:Lead, define, develop and implement the local finance strategyOwn the full budgeting process, including modelling forecasts and building business cases to support management decisionsBe the face and brain of the company when it comes to any financial topicsOwn financial, tax & labor operations in Spain, including vindication & Office ManagementManage and control costs and cash position of the companyEnsure all tax obligations, risks & requirements are under control, specially Transfer Pricing & VATDevelop and if needed, grow a team of A-players - c. 6 people.Requirements:5+ years' relevant experience within Finance, FP&A and/or Controlling experience in Transaction Services, Valuations or Audit in a Big Four as a career startStart-up/tech environment in a SaaS companySpanish and advanced English levelProven deep FP&A experience being the main owner of Budgeting and building models to support itDeep expertise in Excel modelling and ideally some BI exposureFamiliar with all F&A functional areas, including reporting, controlling, accounting, tax, labour etc.Knowledge of labour matters - experience and judgment to lead critical areasNice to have:SǪL / BI hands-on knowledgeWe're currently shortlisting so if this role sounds like it could be a good fit, please apply now!
