HEAD OF DATA - BARCELONA

Data We are looking for a Head of Data to support us in the creation of an R&D pole focused on three issues.
Internal optimization Improving the impact of our sales team by implementing lead scoring Optimizing sales strategies by analyzing the performance of each one Better understand the challenges of our CSM team (customer relationship) through textual analysis (and metadata) of our customers’ feedback Implement an account scoring on our ustomer accounts based on their feedback, their use of the platform, their consumption profile.
Understand in more depth the use of our products by our customers via, among other things, process mining, with a broader objective of personalizing/simplifying the platform according to the user profile Work on the product Statistical analysis (clustering) of our end customers’ purchasing behavior, in order to help our customers better understand their base Pushing further certain features (undercover), still naive, by boosting them with ML Implement, when possible, statistical predictions of our clients’ KPIs Strategic steering Definition with the board (CEO, CTO, CDO) of team performance metrics Constant documentation on data, in collaboration with the OPS team, in order to allow them to monitor via various tools, especially dashboarding This list of topics is voluntarily not exhaustive nor prioritized.
Moreover, after ramp-up, we also expect the Head of Data to be a source of proposals for projects to be carried out or, conversely, to point out the irrelevance of some of them.
Many projects for which recruitments are planned in the next 6 months, in order to support our Head of Data on these issues of innovation and research.
In this respect, we give the Head of Data complete freedom to manage his recruitment, as long as it falls within the previously defined budgets.

The environment and the team bsport is today seventy people divided into 4 poles.
Tech, Sales, CSM, OPS, and all on Barcelona.
This role will be directly supervised by our CTO (former data scientist then data engineer), and in direct collaboration with the managers of our different teams, notably our CDO, Head of Sales, Head of CSM, as well as our (future) COO.

Stack data Although without a dedicated team today, bsport has all the first bricks necessary to build a structured and professional data center, including.
a datalake synthesizing in a single database all the data (DB product, analytics, external data integration, ) a functional data pipeline built on airflow and hosted in our AWS infrastructure Visualization tools well integrated in the stack (metabase in particular) What’s the point of working with us?
