HEAD OF CONSTRUCTION SERVICES

OW a controlled 50/50 joint venture between EDP and Engie is looking for a communicative and analytic "Head of Construction Services".Are you willing to join a passionate and high performing team, in a cross-cultural, fast-paced, and strongly grOWing environment?GENERAL DESCRIPTIONThe position is responsible for developing construction services and policies at OW level, ensuring that every project is achieving minimum standards in construction control, reporting, procedures, and services and maintaining those to industry best practices across portfolio.The position will support, as well, projects in early stage, M&A processes, and seabed lease auction, providing expertise for construction scheduling and management services. MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIESResponsible to follow up construction status of projects and properly report within the organization.Accountable for analysis and definition of construction performance indicators (cost, deadlines, contingency, etc.) to be monitored on OW portfolio.Supervise project budgets, analyze deviations and coordinate the information between projects and corporate in order to support decision making.Establish relevant project procedures across the organization in collaboration with projects and other corporate departments (PEP, MDRs, change management, risk reporting, ROC drills, etc.).Accountable of harmonizing projects construction services (Marine coordination, permits to work, project procedures, planning and weather downtime calculations, MWS, seabed management plans, document management systems, client reps, daily reporting tools, etc).Follow up with projects to ensure identified risk mitigation are implemented during late engineering phases and contruction, including LLs and best practices from previous projects.In close collaboration with the procurement department, develops and ensures a solid relationship with key suppliers across the construction services supply chain.Provide ongoing and continuous technical support and liaise with other areas of technical department and other departments, both at corporate level and at project level, as necessary across the project lifecycle to ensure the success of OW portfolio.ACADEMIC BACKGROUNDDegree in relevant Engineering (civil, mechanical, electrical etc.).LANGUAGESOW has an international team of employees and the working language is English. Candidates need to be fluent in English both spoken and written.Other languages will be considered a plus.PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCEMinimum five years of relevant experience with planning, risk management and construction control.KNOWLEDGEExcellent technical knowledge of offshore wind construction activities and support services, strong level of enthusiasm, proactiveness, flexibility and be capable of identifying issues and establishing suitable solutions.Planning.
