What is the job about?   The main responsibility of the Hardware Electronic Engineer is the research, design, and development of electronic devices for aviation applications.
The Hardware Electronic Engineer works in the HW team within the R&D department in a cross-disciplinary and international environment.
What will you do? Join a hardware team that is working on the state of the art PCB electronic design.
Plan, document and develop new hardware items from the initial specification and requirements through prototypes to production series.
Designing circuit boards.
from capturing schematics to layout (Support to PCB designer or own layout), testing, and documentation.
Ensure that PCB design meets design specifications.
Work with the latest processors from NXP or Intel and the latest FPGAs from Xilinx and Microchip.
Utilize high-performance technologies such as PCIe Gen 4, DDR4, Ethernet G...
Design high-speed circuits with a high level of complexity in signal density, pushing the manufacturing capacity limits of top PCB manufacturers.
Perform analysis, simulations, and design justifications for the technical architecture proposals.
Support to system definition and regulatory and safety certification   Design, validate and verify the hardware developments.
What profile are we looking for? Mandatory.
Telecommunications, Industrial, Electronic Engineering Degree or any other Engineering Degree.
Must be based in Spain and be willing to  occasionally travel to Madrid or Málaga  5+ years of experience in the design of hardware products, prototyping, and debugging.
PCB design over ECAD tools (preferably Altium) Experience designing complex, high velocity PCBs (at least 12 layers) Electronic simulations (LTSpice, TINA, Saturn) SoC and FPGA designs (NXP, Xiilink, Intel, Microchip) and High-Speed interface designs.
Valuable.
Relevant experience in an equivalent position in the aerospace industry.
Background in developing hardware products for avionics equipment over DO-254.
Background in reliability and safety activities.
Understanding of EMI/EMC and environmental qualification activities over DO-160.
