As the Motion specialist within our team of three designers, you will be a key contributor to the creation of visually compelling digital assets across various platforms.
Working closely with your team members and under the guidance of the Head of Site & Content, you will play an integral role in conceptualizing, designing, and executing creative solutions that align with our brand identity and marketing objectives focusing on, but not limited to, adding motion and animation to our communication channels.
This role requires a combination of creative flair, technical proficiency, and collaborative spirit to deliver high-quality designs that resonate with our audience.
You will be part of our team based centrally in Barcelona, and you will be working closely with marketing teams based in Paris.
Fluency in spoken and written English is essential as you will work with teams in many different countries and the shared working language for meetings and written communication is English.
Key Responsibilities.
Design Execution.
Collaborate with fellow designers to translate conceptual ideas into visually appealing digital assets, including animated digital content, long form videos, web graphics, social media content, email templates, digital ads, and multimedia presentations.
Apply design principles, typography, and color theory to create engaging and effective designs that meet project objectives and resonate with our target audience.
Craft compelling visual narratives through motion graphics, bringing ideas and concepts to life.
Understanding of storytelling/narrative structure, pacing, graphics, music, shot selection and all key aspects of audio-visual content.
Produce high-quality design deliverables that adhere to brand guidelines and maintain consistency across all platforms and channels.
Maintain awareness of current industry standards, competitive landscape, and market trends Creative Collaboration.
Participate in brainstorming sessions and design critiques with team members to generate innovative ideas and solutions.
Work collaboratively with other departments, such as marketing, ecommerce and product teams, to understand project requirements, gather feedback, and ensure alignment with brand messaging and objectives.
Provide constructive feedback and support to fellow designers, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Project Management.
Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand project briefs, clarify requirements, and provide project updates throughout the design process.
Quality Assurance.
Conduct thorough quality assurance checks on design deliverables to ensure accuracy, functionality, and consistency across different platforms and devices.
Proactively identify and address any design issues or discrepancies, seeking feedback from team members and stakeholders as needed.
Requisitos Qualifications.
Bachelor's degree in Motion Design, Graphic Design or a related field.
5-7 years of experience in Motion design with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of projects.
Expertise in After Effects, as well as proficiency in the full Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and other relevant design tools and software.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, contributing ideas, providing feedback, and supporting team members.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web design principles is a plus.
Passion for creativity, innovation, and continuous learning in the field of digital design.
