GNSS ALGORITHMS ENGINEER

DEIMOS, that is responsible of several elements in the Galileo Ground Mission Segment and key contributor on the system definition for the next version of EGNOS with emphasis on performances and algorithms definition and development is looking for strongly motivated engineers that want to start their professional career in such a challenging domain to be integrated in the GNSS\SBAS algorithms team within the GNSS Business Unit. At DEIMOS, we value scientific and technical excellence, consistency and detail, reliability and commitment, creativity and innovation, honesty, teamwork, trust and respect.Main Duties:The post holder tasks will include:Ground Segment algorithms design and definitionExperimentation and operations for GNSS\SBAS systemsData processing and performance analysesGeneration of technical documentationExperimentation and operations for GNSS\SBAS systemsEducation:Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Telecommunications, Computer Sciences,…Any other degree is also appropriate if the experience covers the lack in the education curricula.Professional Experience:We are looking for young mid- STEM graduates with proven GNSS software in the domains relevant for the post.Technical Requirements:Knowledge of GNSS and/or SBAS systemsSound mathematical background including functional and stochastic modelling and estimation techniques applied to the GNSS domainKnowledge of numerical methods and algorithms and experience in their implementation as software in one or more of these programming languages: C/C++/FORTRAN In addition, we will value experience in/with or knowledge of:Linux environment Software configuration management (e.g. GIT)Language Skills:Fluent in English written and spoken.
