FIELD ENGINEER - OFFSHORE WIND INDUSTRY

General PurposeEOLOS Floating Lidar Solutions is looking for a field engineer, preferable electrical/electronic/telecommunication, to reinforce our operations technical team.Main Job Tasks and ResponsibilitiesThe main responsibility of the position is to ensure and manage the operability of our floating LiDAR systems (FLS), executing tasks during the commissioning, monitoring and maintenances associated to our projects. Several specific buoys will be assigned to account for full responsibility on its operation and maintenance.The main responsibilities and tasks of the position are to:Travel worldwide to carry out troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive/corrective maintenance on FLS systems in operation, according to documented instructions.Perform remote actions to our FLS systems.Give remote support to teammates or partners in operations.Understand business and project requirements and accordingly execute operation plans to achieve project goals.Manage and lead maintenances to solve operational incidences.Supervise the coordination and management subcontractors for the mechanical, electrical, electronic and communications scope of works.Implement customisations that modify the standard product design.Ability to modify and testing of electronic components (cabinets).Ability to diagnose an issue related to the control system of the product.Draft and manage maintenance documentation: operational manuals, feedback technical reports, modifying electrical diagrams, fleet registers, operation plans, as-built etc.Provide timely written review reports from field operations, status, and constructive feedback to improve successful operations and to continously improve the overall system performance.Manage, monitor and report the stock of spare parts on-site.Follow the applicable Health and Safety instructions and regulations.Working according to an integrated management system (ISO 9001.2015, ISO14001.2015 and ISO 45001/2018)Education and Experience requiredTechnical Degree (Industrial, Electrical, Electronic or Telecommunication engineer or similar).No minimum years of experience is required, but it will be valuable.Experience in cabinet assembly and diagnostic of low voltage electrical circuits (preferably).Practical experience with electric circuits, testers, tools and measuring sensors (preferably). Knowledge of energy, electronic signal and communication management of isolated systems (preferably).Knowledge of the wind energy sector (preferably).Excellent knowledge of English language (spoken and written); Spanish is a plus.Experience working in sea conditions.SkillsAvailability and good predisposition to travel worldwideAbility to work in a teamGood skills in oral and written communicationTroubleshooting.Creative, solution oriented.Self-motivationIndependenceAdaptabilityVersatile and open-minded
