Key Responsibilities.
Leads, under general direction, procedures for reviewing and ensuring ongoing monitoring of all Facilities Engineering project budgets, costs, and schedules to ensure customer-specific requirements are satisfactorily delivered within the customer’s required budget parameters.
Confers with management on Facilities Engineering status updates and alignment to key deadlines, relative to engineering layouts, project installation, and operational customer-specific requirements.
Constructs parameters for testing and maintenance of primary Facilities Engineering sites, associated main electrical distribution areas, uninterruptible power systems, and automatic transfer switches.
Determines outside contractors as the need arises to optimally achieve project goals in accordance with applicable rules and regulations, with specific attention to issues of contractor safety and budgetary constraints.
Helps establish rules to ensure that Facilities Engineering processes and procedures are in compliance with governing state and federal regulatory, safety, and quality protocols and standards.
Provide technical support to the changes in the impacted areas according to GMP and EHS&S regulatory requirements.
Acts as Facilities Compliance Leader for area improvements, deviations and investigations evaluation, regulatory and compliance audits, and capital justification.
Also, supporting the FM Service Provider.
Own the management and supervising the Facilities compliance metrics Quality SME in facilities including but not limited to pest control, physical security, GMP utilities, drawing management, housekeeping management, etc.
Oversight of FM Service Provider, for Quality systems including Instrumentation, including implementation of CAPAs, investigations, and trainings.
Qualifications Education.
University/Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Science, or Business Administration required.
Experience and Skills.
Required.
Generally, requires 4-6 years of related experience working in Quality Systems, Facilities and/or Process improvement, administrative area in the Medtech and Pharmaceutical industry, in a GMP product manufacturing plant environment.
Basic management & supervision of both in-house and contracted personnel.
Comprehensive knowledge in Investigations, CAPA, and Root Cause Analysis.
Excellent communication and interpersonal relation skills.
Must be a self-starter, able think creatively, challenge the norm and motivate change.
Preferred.
Process Improvement experience.
Experience in change management and ability to collaborate and build strong partnerships internally & externally with customer focus.
Other.
Internal interactions with every area/department, such as.
Manufacturing areas, Quality, Production, Planning & Logistics, Engineering, Business Excellence, Administration, EHS&S, Finance, and Human Resources.
Travel - · Less than 10% domestic.
External interaction with Competent Authorities, third party suppliers, contractors, and regulatory and government agencies.
