DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONSPOSITION OVERVIEW:We are looking for a Director of Operations for a young, dynamic and rapidly growing hospitality chain, which is expanding across several markets and sectors.Our portfolio includes boutique hotels, vibrant co-livings, outstanding restaurants, and various other innovative hospitality ventures, both in Spain and abroad (and currently expanding).At the heart of our mission, we have a commitment to offering unparalleled service, fostering memorable experiences, and creating comfortable and unique spaces where guests feel at home wherever they go.That is why we want you to promote, expand and boost these experiences throughout the management of our operations.So, if you're passionate about hospitality and eager to shape the future of the industry, we invite you to join our team as our new Director of Operations! WHAT WILL WE BE EXPECTING FROM YOU?As the Director of Operations, and together with your Operations Team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation and continued success of our diverse hospitality business units.You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations across our portfolio, driving efficiency, profitability, and excellence in guest satisfaction through our different assets.You will belong to CODIR and work directly with the CEO and ownership of the company, as well as with the rest of your peers and team. The role is completely cross-functional across the company.You will be in charge of managing and developing the Operations team (that will include adjacent departments such as Quality & F&B, among other things), to develop and execute strategic initiatives to elevate our different brands, to optimize processes, and to expand our footprint in the hospitality market.So, we expect you to take both client and employee experience to levels never seen before! KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Once you onboard our company, you will:Lead and inspire a high-performing operations team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to drive individual and collective success.Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company's vision, goals, and values, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Oversee the day-to-day operations of hotels, co-livings, restaurants, and other hospitality establishments, ensuring adherence to quality standards, brand guidelines, and regulatory requirements.Drive revenue growth and cost management through effective resource allocation, pricing strategies, and operational efficiencies.Analyze performance metrics, market trends, and guest feedback to identify opportunities for enhancement and drive strategic decision-making.Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, partners, and different stakeholders to support operational objectives and negotiate favorable terms.Lead the development and implementation of technology solutions to streamline operations, enhance guest experiences, and improve productivity.Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, taking proactive measures to mitigate risks and uphold a safe environment for guests and employees.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, RM, marketing, finance, and human resources, to drive integrated strategies and achieve business objectives. FIT IN THE POSITION:The perfect candidate for this position will have:Proven track record of success in a senior operations leadership role within the hospitality industry, with experience managing diverse portfolios (preferably of hotels, co-livings, restaurants, or similar establishments).Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of hospitality operations, revenue management, industry best practices and mandatory regulations.Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, foster a positive work culture, and drive performance excellence.Strategic thinker, but with a hands-on profile ad the ability to develop and execute operational initiatives that deliver measurable results and drive business growth.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize operations and enhance guest experiences.Flexibility to travel as needed.Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.Fluency in English and Spanish; additional languages will be a plus.Good knowledge of hospitality management systems, technology platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite. WHY JOIN US?We are a fast-growing, fresh, and dynamic hospitality chain, so you will:Have the opportunity to be part of a dynamic and innovative hospitality firm with a strong commitment to excellence and guest satisfaction, and with different existing brands and business units (and growing).Have a chance to make a meaningful impact and shape the future of hospitality, by bringing new points of view, ideas and methodologies through innovation, passion, and dedication.Work in a collaborative and inclusive work environment that values creativity, teamwork, and continuous learning.Have a competitive compensation package, including base salary + performance-based incentives.Have growth opportunities and career development pathways within a rapidly expanding organization. So, if you're ready to embark on an exciting journey and contribute to shaping the future of hospitality, we are waiting for you as our new Director of Operations.Join our passionate team and become a part of an extraordinary journey!
