A key strategic priority is to accelerate digital care through the role our chatbot, TOBi, is playing in handling customer service and sales queries.
Already live in several countries, we have big plans to roll out TOBi to all our markets and increase dramatically the number of conversations TOBi is having with our customers.
A Data & AI Lead will be an experienced data specialist who will focus on ensuring our data pipelining and standardisation is effective across Vodafone’s global markets, to enable the acceleration of TOBi.
The candidate will be the key point of contact on data for our Group Technology colleagues, along with data specialists across the Vodafone markets, collaborating to gain alignment and provide global oversight of the program.
They will also be responsible for analysing data across markets to develop key metrics and KPIs, understanding both the data and commercial context to assess success of TOBi and indicate future strategic developments.
What you’ll do • Continuously analyse data to develop and measure key KPI’s and metrics to assess the performance of TOBi.
• Collaborate with cross-functional global teams to ensure data pipelining is effective across several use cases and data sources.
• Conduct analysis for discussion of data trends to contribute innovative ideas and strategies for TOBi development.
Who you are Basic understanding of Prompt engineering core principles.
• Proven experience in data preprocessing techniques specific to natural language data, including tokenization, stemming, lemmatization, and part-of-speech tagging.
• Experience with handling unstructured textual data and cleaning noisy or inconsistent data.
• Understanding of data privacy regulations (e.
.
GDPR, CCPA) and compliance requirements related to handling sensitive textual data Collaboration and Stakeholder Management.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders across different markets and functional areas.
• Ability to understand and address the unique data preparation requirements and challenges faced by each market.
Quality Assurance and Validation.
• Proficiency in quality assurance techniques for assessing the accuracy, consistency, and relevance of annotated data.
• Experience with validation methods to ensure the effectiveness and reliability of large language models trained on the prepared data.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Deep understanding of driving revenue streams, pricing strategies, and translating various insights into commercial plans • Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data or related field.
• Large scale global programme execution • Data analytics, insight and decision making • Outstanding written, verbal and presentation skills.
