DEVOPS ENGINEER (DEUTSCHE TELEKOM IT) (F/M)

Our team is growing, and we are looking forward to meeting more international talented employees from Spain and other countries.With our highly skilled engineers and experts, we are committed to continue developing the culture of creativity and agility, foster innovations, and be an international tech center!Our project DH B2B Digital Touchpoints is a portal for business customers, different parts of which (monolithic portal, microservice backend, integrated single page applications) are developed by various SCRUM teams, which are united by common business goals. In the project we have a group of DevOps engineers, each of those is assigned to work with a specific development team(s) and, at the same time, stays in touch with other DevOps colleagues to share knowledge, help each other, align about tools and approaches, and participate in common tasks, which are applicable to all teams of the project.Tech stack of the project: Java applications (monoliths and microservices) deployed to K8S-clusters and application servers, Docker, GitLab CI, Ansible, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK-stack, various cloud platforms.Key Responsibilities: Develop and support CI/CD pipelines in various projectsConfigure monitoring and log aggregation toolsManage cloud services and environmentsPrepare and support software releasesMonitor and troubleshoot project systemsCollaborate with development and support teamsIdentify opportunities to optimize and automate manual processesStay up to date with best practices and emerging technologiesRequired skills: Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar roleKnowledge of at least one of CI/CD tools (Gitlab CI, Jenkins, Teamcity, CircleCI)Understanding and practical experience with gitExperience with monitoring and log aggregation toolsExperience with Docker (creating images, configuring and running containers, networking)Familiarity with KubernetesUnderstanding of cloud computingExperience with Linux (command line utilities, package managers, configuring)Hands-on experience with Bash programmingCommunication and teamwork skillsEnglish level-upper-intermediate Preferred skills: General knowledge about software development life cycleExperience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)Experience with configuration management tools, like AnsibleExperience with microservices architectureKnowledge of security best practices and tools🤲What do we offer you?
