We are looking for a person to join our Data and AI team.
We are looking to expand our knowledge of the Azure platform, so we need a person who enjoys developing data projects on Azure.
What will be your role?   You are going to participate as a Data Engineer in Data and Machine Learning projects going forward.
Some of your functions will be.
Design and Develop Data Solutions.
Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to understand business requirements and design effective and scalable data solutions in the Azure cloud.
Implement Data Pipelines.
Develop robust data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks and Azure Fabric, as well as other Azure tools for ingesting, transforming and loading data from various sources into target systems.
Create Data Models.
Design and build optimized data models to support advanced analytics and BI applications, ensuring data integrity and quality.
Optimize Performance.
Identify and address performance bottlenecks in pipelines and databases, implementing optimization and tuning techniques to improve efficiency and scalability.
Automate Processes.
Develop scripts and automation tools for the implementation of data quality and performance optimization techniques.
Collaborate with Cross-functional Teams.
Work closely with development teams, data analysts, data scientists and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver effective, business-driven solutions.
Provide Technical Support.
Provide technical support and guidance to other team members in the design, development and maintenance of Azure cloud data solutions.
Stay updated.
Keep abreast of the latest trends and technologies in the field of data engineering and Azure cloud, participating in training and certification activities as needed.
Contribute to Data Culture.
Promote a data culture within the company, encouraging best practices in the management and use of data for informed decision making.
#LI-LP1 What we need to see from you If you have 2 to 4 years of experience working in the data engineering area, we are looking for you.
We are looking for a technical profile in Big Data and AI, with good ability to understand the functional needs of the business.
Experience creating and maintaining efficient data pipelines using services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse Analytics for data ingestion, transformation and loading.
Knowledge and experience in the Fabric suit is a plus.
Demonstrable prior experience in a similar role as a Data Engineer, preferably with a focus on Azure cloud.
Deep knowledge of Azure services and tools, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB and Azure Data Lake Storage.
Experience in designing and developing scalable, high performance data architectures.
Strong programming skills in languages such as SQL, Python, and/or Scala.
Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and in a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Relevant Azure certifications are a plus.
Experience working on Generative AI projects.
We highly value.
Experience with the Azure ecosystem.
Any experience with GCP or AWS will be a plus.
Experience in development tasks using TDD and/or BDD patterns.
Interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication.
High level of spoken and written English.
