CYBER SECURITY ARCHITECT

Cyber Security Architect Contract to end of the year + ext1 day onsite per month in Barcelona (Must be based in/or relocate to Spain)Rate depends on experience We Need:· Technical ability to evaluate security architectures and designs of existing and new security solutions, to determine the adequacy of the security design and architecture proposed or provided in meeting our business security requirements. Which are also aligned with security best practices and vendor hardening guidelines.· Broad experience in selecting, architecting and deploying security products, technologies and capabilities such as: email security, SIEM/XDR/EDR; NGFWs/IDPs; Network security analytics; SASE; WAF; Identity, authentication and access management, OT threat management, data protection and resilience.· Working experience in carrying out and documenting threat modelling/analysis and risk assessments as well as security architecture handbooks. As well as implementing improvements from these assessments with network and infrastructure teams, security engineers for IT infrastructure and security solutions employed to defend, protect and secure networks, end-points, systems and data both hosted in-house or in the cloud.· Ability to deliver security architectures based on security frameworks and best practices such as the NIST publications e.g. 800-53, ISO 27001 controls, CIS benchmarks and technology vendors hardening guidelines. · Desirable: Experience in architecting and deploying security solutions which are GXP compliant, and also comply with requirements from EU/UK General Data Protection Regulations.You Should Have:· Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information security, or a related field. · Relevant certifications e.g. Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect Expert, CISSP-ISSAP/ISSEP, TOGAF, SABSA.
