COSTS AND CALCULATIONS SPECIALIST (M/W/D)

Key responsibilities & functionsPrepare product cost calculations and quotations together with engineering and sales teams.Control and monitor of product, segment, and customer profitability. Deep analysis of gross margin development. Identify gaps between original production cost calculations and actual production, incl. non-financial KPIs. Discuss with the plant leadership team and ensure countermeasures are defined and executed.Provide financial analysis and evaluation to support decision-making.Stock and sales analysisIdentify and analyse areas of risk & opportunities.Communicating and collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth functioning of operations.Provide financial support to the organization. Reporting to Finance Director of the plant and the Finance team headquarters.Technical skillsAdvanced knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, macros, and other advanced Excel functions), Power Point.Mandatory SAP knowledge.Knowledge of data analysis tools desirable: Power BI.What other skills do you need?Degree in Engineering3 - 5 years of professional working experience in a similar role in industrial sector. First product costing and/or quoting experience is a must.Ability and willingness to deeply understand both the financial and the technical sides of product costing.Fluent in English (B2-C1). German would be a plus.Knowledge of industrial sector. Automotive industry is a plus.Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and analysis but combined with the ability to “zoom out” to the big picture.Ability to analyse large and complex data and extract simple actionable insights.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify patterns and trends in data and offer solutions.Financial reporting and managing audit processes is also desirable.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as the position requires working with different teams.Structured, solution-oriented, and proactive way of working.Equal Employment Opportunity StatementMusashi Spain Villalba as an equal opportunity employer bases its hiring decisions on the business need and the best qualified candidates available and does not discriminate in its employment decisions based on any protected category.
