CONNECTIVITY & PROVISIONING ENGINEER

What you’ll do As s Voice Provisioning Engineer you will be responsible to.
•    Evaluate customer infrastructure and confirm together with presales engineers that the correct solution implementation is offered to the Enterprise Customers.
•    Receive directly from VBTS Project Managers the requests for new service activation, or from EBU TAM/AM request for changes, of OneNet and Vodafone Business Connect services •    Co-ordinate and perform all required actions in order to activate OneNet and VBC products to the customer premises •    Organize service integrator’s technician visits to customer premises to perform all required on site activities installation activities.
•    Access customer’s internal network (under customer’s guidance) to perform work around actions while the activation takes place.
The scope of the role is to cover Vodafone’s fixed telephony services (product.
OneNet and Vodafone Business Connect – VBC) activation in direct contact with VGE / Major / SME Customers.
Who you are •    Good general and technical education with qualifications in telecommunications, electronics, and computing.
TEI or University degree  •    At least 3 years experience in administration of technology services (Fixed telephony - PBX administration)  •    Very good organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills •    Logical approach to problem solving and self-motivation.
•    Ability to retain knowledge and crossmatch new problems with previous ones •    Broad experience of supporting major corporate customers through virtual teams, suppliers, contractors, and integrators.
•    A good command of written and spoken English •    Knowledge of isdn signalling, Sip messages, IMS network, RTP, PRI, Routing, PBX configuration •    Knowledge of Cisco equipment/Call manager/programming.
Cisco certification is also desirable.
•    Thorough knowledge, end to end, of fixed voice telecommunication network operation.
•    Knowledge of networks/switches   •    Basic Knowledge of MetroETH, Microwave, EFM Services •    Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint   Not a perfect fit?
