Would you like to work on the Next Generation  BI Platform? Join our team and work with our engineering team to optimize, implement, and maintain our organization’s cloud-based bi applications.
You will be involved in the following tasks   •Opportunity to create the infrastructure of a cloud based data platform from the ground up •Participates in every aspect of design and development cloud-based infrastructure, applications, and services that meet the organization's requirements.
•Monitor the performance of cloud-based systems and optimize resources to ensure cost-effectiveness and high availability.
•Ensure efficient functioning of data storage and process functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security •Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues •Collaborating with engineering and development teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions •Using CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code  •Modifying and improving existing systems •Create and maintain technical documentation, contribute to manuals and documentation for the users •Estimate the development effort by requirements and projects •Work in teams using various development methodologies – agile (SCRUM), waterfall.
•Ensure compliance with Vodafone policies and procedures   We are looking for you if you have  •IT specific university degree OR developer qualification •3+ year experience including Cloud Engineering,Software Engineering, Platfrom Engineering, DevOps Engineering within a technology company •Experience designing or operating or monitoring IT platforms •Experience with SQL and Databases  •UNIX/Linux shell knowledge/experience •Experience working on projects within the cloud ideally AWS or GCP •Basic understanding of cloud computing, types of cloud computing and cloud computing services  •Basic understanding of computer networking, network types, protocolls, addressing and routing •Experience working with version control systems like Azure Devops,Github,Bitbucket,Gitlab etc..
•Understanding how Infrastructure as Code works and knowing a tool like that (e.
.
Terraform) is a plus.
•Experience creating and mainting CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
