Description Grand Hyatt Barcelona is seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Catering Sales Manager to join our Sales team on a temporary basis to cover a maternity leave.
This role is ideal for someone with a passion for hospitality and event planning, particularly in the luxury segment.
You will be responsible for managing catering-only group requests and social events-including weddings-by overseeing the full sales and coordination cycle.
ey Responsibilities.
anage and respond to inbound catering-only and social event inquiries, such as corporate luncheons and private celebrations.
ct as the primary contact for wedding clients, managing both sales and full event planning.
ualify leads, create customized proposals, and align offerings with hotel availability, revenue targets, and client expectations.
raft contracts, track approvals, and coordinate deposits according to internal protocols.
ead site inspections and planning meetings, showcasing hotel services and facilities.
ollaborate with internal teams (Culinary, Banqueting, Events, Rooms Division) to ensure seamless execution.
aintain accurate client records and event details using systems like Envision.
rovide a luxury, service-oriented experience at every touchpoint.
ualifications What We Would Love About YouExperience & Education.
inimum 1 year of experience in hospitality sales, catering, or events.
xperience planning weddings or social events is highly preferred.
revious work in luxury hotels or upscale venues is a strong asset.
