We are fully integrated to the AXPO Group, a Swiss based utility with a leading position in energy markets across 30 countries in Europe, Americas, Asia and Africa.Through our solar division, we operate in the development, investment, construction and operation of photovoltaic plants and the supply of green electricity and advanced energy solutions for our customers in Europe (Italy, Spain, Germany and Poland).JOB DESCRIPTION:As a Automation Engineer within Axpo Solar Iberia designs, implements and puts into operation control and monitoring systems for ITaly and Spanish photovoltaic power plants. You are responsible for setting up the production equipment. You are also responsible for the complete commissioning of the production equipment, ensuring that the photovoltaic plant is fully operational.You will report to the Southern Europe Construction Director, your main missions will be:DESIGNValidate the low-voltage plans supplied by the Design Office, ensuring that they meet the operational requirements and quality standards set for the monitoring and control system.Based on the validated plans, define the complete list of equipment required for data collection and communication for the monitoring and control systems, TSO/DSO interfaces for telecontrol and energization permits.Technical lead in charge of definition of Urbasolar’s SCADA specifications and standards.IMPLEMENTATIONCheck the assembly of the monitoring boxes to ensure that they comply with the technical specifications and quality standards.Set the parameters of active equipment such as PLCs, routers, communication gateways, etc., to enable optimum communication between the various system components.Prepare FATs with HTA integrators and take part in their production.Develop the code to be integrated into the PLC to ensure effective control and supervision of the communicating equipment in the photovoltaic power plant.COMMISSIONINGChecking the wiring of the DC junction boxes by measuring open-circuit voltages, checking the polarities of the strings and group cables to ensure that the photovoltaic installation is operating correctly, in strict compliance with the construction quality assurance plan.Set the parameters and start up the inverters to ensure that the photovoltaic installation is started up safely and optimally.Check that all the data from the communicating equipment is fed back correctly into our databases, ensuring that the essential information for supervising and monitoring the plants is collected reliably and accurately.Check that the PLC regulates active and reactive power in accordance with the distribution network access contract (CARD) drawn up with the grid operator, in order to comply with electricity supply conditions and optimize energy injection into the grid.TRANSVERSALIdentifying new requirements for evolution of DAS/SCADA systems and tools from operative experience.Taking part in meetings to monitor and review the progress of the department's projects.Regularly monitor your area of expertiseRegularly report on the progress of projects and issues to the department managerAct as a reference for a specialty within the department or organizationPERFIL REQUIRED:Engineering degree with minimum 5 years' experience an automation engineer in a fast-growing SME environnementAutonomous, challenging spirit, strong and diplomatic relationship with institutional partners, sense of synthesis and pragmaticExcellent communication skills in Spanisnh- Fluent english required and italian is appreciate tooAs a true conductor, you will be responsible for the proper conduct of the site.
