ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE & PAYABLE SPECIALIST

We have seen tremendous success and growth of Arbolus in the last few years and yet, we still keep going for more! Our Barcelona-based Finance Team is looking for an additional Accounts Receivable & Payable Specialist to focus on our Financial Operations (in particular Billing, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable management) as well as ad hoc Commercial Support as a business partner to the Finance and Leadership teams.
bout the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable and Payable Specialist to own these financial processes.
Your responsibilities will include daily bookkeeping, processing supplier payments, credit control, customer invoicing, and being the point of contact for customers and suppliers.
ou are a great fit if you have 5 to 10 years of experience working in these areas, good organisational and communication skills and willingness to work in a team as you will be dealing with different points of contact inside and outside of the organisation.
deally we want someone that has experience working within a growing business and can identify and be proactive about finding ways to improve our internal processes and ways of doing things.
It is important that you have the ability to learn new software and systems quickly and are confident in building scalable processes.
xperience of building and managing an Accounts Receivable and/or Payable team is desirable as we envision that this role will require direct reports as workload increases.
ey responsibilities you will be in charge ofProcessing expert and supplier paymentBookkeeping and reconciliation of both Xero and Spendesk including daily reconciliation of customer and supplier paymentsRecord supplier invoices into accounting systemSupport in preparation of payment-run (liaising with local accountants where applicable)Finance Mailbox - answering queries and redirecting to the right point of contact/solving them including both suppliers and clients queries.
ustomer invoicing (currently monthly)Suggesting improvements in accuracy, efficiency, and reducing costs in our internal processesOwnership of credit control and collections (we are currently implementing an accounts receivable software to help manage this process)Requesting the corresponding documentation for tax purposes when needed and filling out company documentation required for client onboarding (for ex.
