5G/4G TEST ENGINEER

About the role In the role, one must verify and validate end-to-end product and innovation lab activities, along with infrastructure and cloud environments for Enterprise MPN products, platforms, and solutions.
This involves verifying and validating product development, innovation, proof of concepts, customer demos, and builds across MPN and Cloud Practice using cutting-edge innovative solutions.
Additionally, responsibilities include conducting technical assessments, drawing test conclusions, and identifying defects, risks, and dependencies, collaborating with stakeholders for resolution and mitigation.
The role also entails working with multiple high-performing teams in Agile methodologies, ensuring all activities embrace Agile methodology and leverage tools and techniques to progressively transform the lab and customer capability.
Furthermore, collaboration with development, suppliers, business, security, operations, and program management teams is essential to validate production releases by providing appropriate tests for infrastructure and connectivity.

Analysing documents (e.
., design, requirements, architecture, diagrams, flowcharts) to obtain an understanding of the product, features, requirements & opportunities.
Define Test/strategy/Test Approach, overall test plan, test case preparation, test data preparation and document traceability matrix to ensure sufficient test coverage.
Execute test cases and test plans to support the quality assurance activities.
Defect reporting and verifying fixes through working closely with different technical teams including Vodafone Suppliers.
Create Dashboard/Reports to demonstrate QA Status of ongoing projects.

Strong Quality Assurance & Test Management/Delivery in telecom industry, industrial applications or similar.
ISTQB certification is valuable.
Experience in Mobile Network cores (4G and 5G) and/or radios (e.
., Ericsson, Nokia, OpenRan or others).
Experience in Mobile Device Management.
Experience in Infrastructure testing on physical labs with equipment such as servers, firewalls, routers & switches.
Experience in Network/Security such as Server Management, Linux basics, Comfortable using CLI & Shell commands, Network tools.
Wireshark, nmap, or other tools & Performance tools.
Ixia, Smartbits.
Experience in Scaled agile framework (SAFe) or other Agile methodologies.
SAFe/Agile tools.
Jira, Confluence.
Exposure to DevOps & Familiarization with Cloud (e.
., AWS, Azure) and Cloud Toolset (e.
.
Cloud automation), CI/CD tools.
Jenkins & Containers.
Docker, Kubernetes (is a plus)  Nice to have.
Experience in Test automation, Mobile automation & Delivery of Automation Framework based on project requirements, Programming  languages skills such as Java or Python, Tools such as Appium, Selenium Web driver or equivalent, API testing tools such as Jmeter, SoapUI, postman & Code Repository.
Experience with Git & Git workflow.
