A temp position (May – December ) to cover a maternity leave for a Web Editor / External Communications Manager has arisen at Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe (Madrid) within the Corporate Affairs and Communications function G.
You will join a dynamic team of corporate and divisional web editors spread across different sites maintaining and enhancing our company's online presence, being responsible for Airbus Defence and Space part of the global corporate website airbus.

● Manage and edit content on the Airbus corporate website (Airbus.
om) ● Ensure accuracy, clarity of content, and consistency with brand guidelines across all pages ● Collaborate within the wider external communications team to validate all content to be published.
● Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in managing CMS and analytics to ensure that Airbus' digital presence remains competitive and innovative.
● Use analytics to track and measure the effectiveness of content and make data- driven decisions to improve performance.
● Ensure consistency in tone and voice across all content as well as adherence to Airbus’ style guide.
Accountabilities.
● Edit and publish content on the Airbus corporate website in a timely and accurate manner ● Work with subject matter experts to develop and review content for accuracy and relevance ● Collaborate with the corporate communications team to develop and execute content strategies that support business objectives ● Ensure the corporate style guide is adhered to in all content produced for the website ● Continuously monitor and improve the quality and effectiveness of web content through analytics and user feedback ● Manage and prioritise multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline- driven environment SKILLS Your Boarding Pass ● Degree in Communications, Journalism, English, or related ● 3+ years of experience in web content editing, preferably in a corporate environment ● Excellent English copy-writing and proofreading skills (mandatory) + excellent copy-writing and proofreading skills in French, German or Spanish (a plus) ● Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), such as WordPress or Drupal ● Familiarity with web analytics and SEO tools, such as Google Analytics or Piwik Pro, Hotjar, Semrush ● Basic HTML and CSS skills, experience in UX/UI design ● Experience with project management tools such as Asana, Trello, or JIRA Required Soft Skills.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills ● Keen eye for detail and ability to spot errors and inconsistencies in content ● Strong editorial judgement and ability to maintain consistency in tone and voice across all content ● Team-player, open-minded and at ease in multicultural environments.
