VP OF PRODUCTION

Scopely is seeking a high-performing VP of Production to help bring one of the world's most beloved IPs to a global mobile audience.
In this role, you'll own execution across the entire development lifecycle-from concept and pre-production through global launch and live operations.
Given the scale and ambition of the project, we're looking for a leader who can operate effectively across a wide range of contexts and complexities.
What You Will Do Provide clear direction and alignment across stakeholders, from high-level vision to feature specifications.
Drive the full game development lifecycle-from concept through live operations-defining strategy, setting goals, and making critical decisions.
Adapt team structure and focus at each stage of development to support iteration, execution, and delivery.
Collaborate hands-on with internal teams and external partners to ensure product quality, alignment, and momentum.
Build strong relationships with IP partners and manage feedback and approval pipelines effectively.
Own the R&D budget, prioritizing resources to maximize impact and efficiency.
Lead by example in a software-first culture-empowering, unblocking, and inspiring cross-functional teams while championing a holistic, player-first experience.
What We're Looking For 12+ years in game production, including 8+ years leading cross-functional teams.
5+ years in executive production roles (e.
., Exec Producer, Head of Product Development, Development Director).
Proven track record shipping and operating new and live mobile games, including at least one large-scale F2P title (100+ person team).
Experience building a game and team from the ground up (0 to 1).
Strong history of working with external development partners and distributed teams across time zones.
Experience with top-tier IP and managing licensor relationships, ideally on cross-platform products.
