We design and develop our Fixed Line solutions, drive efficiency through automation and AI, and implement it all directly with our customers.
What you’ll do   As a Field Maintenance Engineer supporting Vodafone’s strategic telecommunications network across Scotland, you’ll play a key role in delivering excellence for our customer.
You’ll be part of a team responsible for Routine Maintenance & Inspection (RMI) activities under the Assure contract, working across Scottish Power’s infrastructure and its interfaces with SSEN and National Grid networks.
You will.
Deliver professional field engineering services for RMI activities across multiple contract sites.
Collaborate with project and senior engineers to execute planned maintenance throughout the year.
Ensure all work aligns with Vodafone and client expectations for quality, safety, and performance.
Complete and submit technical reports based on equipment testing, ensuring accurate data upload to SPEN’s systems.
Identify and manage risks while upholding health & safety standards individually and as part of a team.
Apply your technical knowledge of networking principles in a telecoms high-voltage (HV) environment.
Contribute to successful project delivery through hands-on implementation and problem-solving.
Who you are     Exceptional organisation skills Assure/Maintenance activity experience Able to adapt to a fast-paced environment Ability to work to the applicable quality standards.
Knowledge of AC/DC battery competence, installation/testing, identifying failing battery cells.
Knowledge of testing DC battery systems at different levels including discharge testing.
Knowledge of microwave systems that are required to have routine maintenance completed.
