TECHNICAL DATA LEAD

Spec/Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.At least 3 years of technical expertise in data management, analytics, and programming.At least 3 years of proven experience in leading and managing data projects, including data integration, transformation, and modeling.In-depth knowledge of data systems and infrastructure, with the ability to design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient solutions.Proven experience with data analytics tools and technologies, such as SQL, Python, R, or other relevant programming languages.Hands-on experience with Cloudera distribution and related tools like HDFS, Hive, Impala, and HBase or similar technical stack.Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, and knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes is a plus.Excellent understanding of data governance processes, data standards, and best practices.Leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Experience in providing technical guidance and mentorship to a data team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.Ability to conduct data audits and assessments, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.Proactive approach to staying up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in data management and analytics.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.Ability to monitor and report on the progress and performance of data projects, ensuring timely delivery and effective communication with stakeholders. Duties / Responsibilities: Leading the technical aspects of data projects, including data integration, data transformation, and data modeling.Designing, developing, and maintaining data systems and infrastructure to ensure data quality, integrity, and security.Develop and maintain scalable and efficient data processing pipelines using Cloudera and Spark technologies among others to handle large volumes of data from diverse sources.Develop and maintain scalable API solutions to provide data to both: external and internal customersCollaborating with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and translate business requirements into technical solutions.Overseeing the implementation of data analytics tools and technologies, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.Providing technical guidance and mentorship to the data team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.Conducting regular data audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in data management and analytics, evaluating their potential impact on the organization.Serving as a subject matter expert on data-related topics, providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.Monitoring and reporting on the progress and performance of data projects, ensuring timely delivery and effective communication with stakeholders.Participate in agile development practices, including sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous integration and deployment, to ensure high-quality software delivery. *Day by day activities
