TECHNICAL APPLICATION MANAGER- PV UTILITIES / SOLAR PROJECTS

We are on the search for a Technical Application Manager- Utility.Position Overview:This position will play a pivotal role in advancing the company’s presence in the utility applications market. The post-holder will be responsible for understanding the unique requirements of utility-scale solar projects and providing technical expertise to support customers in maximizing the performance and efficiency of the company’s solar inverter solutions and wider product offering.This will include: managing day-to-day tasks concerning project feasibility assessments, designing are scale solar power systems, supervising installation and operations of utility- scale PV plants.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with internal teams to understand product specifications and capabilities, ensuring alignment with utility application requirementsLead the development and implementation of technical solutions for utility-scale solar projects in Europe, working closely with all stakeholders to ensure alignment with the companyConduct product feasibility assessments and follow through coordination with project stakeholdersProvide technical utility advice and guidance to customers and partners during the pre-sales and post-sales phases, including system design and troubleshootingMake recommendations on the most suitable utility product solutions based on applicable grid codes and project requirementsOversee the installation, commissioning and operation of utility-scale PVKeep a breast of grid interconnection requirements and utility regulationsWork closely with wider European Service team to ensure grid code compliance and customer satisfaction, providing technical expertise and support as neededDevelop technical documentation, application notes, and training materials to educate customers and internal stakeholders on utility application best practicesCoordinate necessary resources to manage technical partners- ensuring close collaborationStay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies related to utility-scale solar power generationAct as a liaison between customers, engineering teams, product management, and technical aftersales to communicate customer requirements and drive product enhancementsParticipate in industry conferences, workshops, and customer meetings to promote products and solutionsMentor and provide technical leadership to regional solution managers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learningKey Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
