Student Technical Writer About the job Are you considering your next career move? At Allianz, we are seeking a Student Technical Writer to join our Retail Global Assets Department in Barcelona.
Our department provides end-to-end insurance platforms to manage policy operations that serve the needs of Allianz Operating Entities globally.
As a Technical Writer with AI knowledge or capabilities, you will play a crucial role in documenting and communicating complex technical concepts related to our products.
You will work closely with our developers, engineers, and delivery leads to create clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation that supports the development, deployment, and maintenance of the overall product delivery.
What you do • Collaborate with technical teams to understand project requirements and gather necessary information for documentation.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, system specifications, API documentation, training materials and catalog reference models using GenAI Technology.
• Translate complex technical concepts into accessible language for various audiences, including developers, stakeholders, and end-users.
• Assist in the development of content for presentations, reports, and other communication materials related to the projects.
• Ensure consistency and quality in all documentation through editing and proofreading.
• Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and their practical use.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving documentation processes and practices.
What you bring • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Technical Communication, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of AI concepts and technologies, with the ability to quickly grasp technical details.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in using documentation tools and software, focused on GenAI.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Previous experience in technical writing or documentation is a plus but not required.
