Organization EVP Global Functions Business Unit Strategic Procurement Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Experienced Professional A Snapshot of Your Day Join us as a Commodity Manager (f/m/d) and take charge of the strategic procurement of Production Equipment (CAPEX) that drives our business forward! You will coordinate internal demand from collaborators and engage with the market to discover and identify potential suppliers.
Your role will involve launching sourcing initiatives and tenders, negotiating offers and contracts, and ensuring strong partner management throughout the process.
As part of our diverse and energized Indirect Material organization, your expertise will be pivotal in shaping our procurement strategies and encouraging innovation.
How You'll Make an Impact Coordinate internal demand from customers to align procurement strategies with business needs.
Approach the market to discover and identify potential suppliers, improving our supplier portfolio.
Launch sourcing initiatives and tenders with suppliers to secure the best offerings.
Negotiate offers and contracts with suppliers, implementing innovative approaches to achieve efficient results.
Maintain strong collaborator management to ensure alignment and happiness across all business areas.
What You Bring Senior strategic procurement experience with proven negotiation skills, with over 5 years of relevant experience.
Direct experience related to the procurement of Production Equipment machinery.
Proficiency in English at a minimum C1 level.
A degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or a commercial program with relevant technical knowledge.
A creative, assertive, analytical, and motivational attitude driven by customer orientation, along with strong decision-making skills and the ability to build networks.
Proficiency in German is highly valued.
