·       Lead design transfer activities from R&D to manufacturing, collaborating closely with multi-functional teams.
·       Collaborate in developing and implementing robust design transfer plans and timelines to ensure alignment with project goals and company objectives.
·       Partner in the creation and review of design transfer documentation such as process validation protocols, manufacturing instructions, and quality control plans.
·       Perform risk assessments and mitigation strategies related to design transfer, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company practices.
·       Provide technical expertise and support to manufacturing teams during product scale-up, solving design-related issues, and optimizing manufacturing processes.
·       Engage with internal and external partners and suppliers to ensure smooth design transfer processes and effective knowledge transfer.
Qualifications ·       Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, biomedical engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
·       6 years of experience in medical device product development or manufacturing with experience in design for manufacturability and design transfer.
·       Consistent track record of successfully transferring products from R&D to manufacturing, with a deep understanding of design control processes required.
·       Solid understanding of relevant regulatory requirements (e.
., FDA, ISO) and quality standards in design transfer.
·       Experience with CAD software (e.
., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and other engineering tools.
·       Excellent project management skills and experience leading multiple projects simultaneously.
·       Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a meticulous attention to detail.
·       Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels of the organization.
