  THE JOURNEY Payroll Administration.
collect all payroll related information, prepare, generate, check and submit payroll figures on a monthly basis.
Implement and improve processes.
Act as the POC for all labor administration issues, ensuring all employee documentation is collected and signed in the correct format Manage onboarding, off-boarding, and all job changes for our employees in Spain.
Set up and maintain an orderly and compliant physical archive Proactively ensure the company is compliant with local labor law regulations Manage benefits for employees including acting as the POC for several providers (benefits and payroll providers) Compile and negotiate conditions for benefits renewals Identify employee knowledge gaps and create relevant materials and training to fill those gaps Contact employees with regard to matters related to employee documentation Create process documentation and manage change management for process changes Supporting People Operations Generalist in any other tasks related to internal audit or administration (if needed) Collaborating with an external payroll provider in matters related to employee documentation WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE 2+ years of experience in labour administration ideally in Spain.
Minimum of 2 years of experience handling end-to-end payroll process.
Strong Excel and database management skills.
Always looking to improve processes and optimizing coordination between departments.  Detailed oriented.
Degree/Background in law, politics, immigration law, employee relations, administration, business or similar is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, growing start-up environment and work with all levels of management.
Strong organization and project management skills.
Proactivity.
Great communication skills.
Fluency and perfect writing skills in Spanish and English.  You are based in Barcelona.
