Java Developer for an important computer consulting firm based in Madrid.
You will participate in the design, development, testing, and production deployment of high-quality Java applications to meet the needs of their clients and contribute to the growth and improvement of their platform.
What are the main responsibilities? ️ Analyze and understand the functional and technical requirements of projects.
Design and develop Java software solutions following specifications and best practices.
Conduct unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
Actively participate in code reviews and continuous improvement of work methods.
Collaborate closely with other developers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and a good understanding of the project.
Ensure maintenance, evolution, and optimization of existing applications.
Write accurate and consistent technical documentation.
Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in Java through technological watch.
Technical requirements Degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java development, particularly with frameworks and tools such as Spring, Hibernate, Maven, etc.
In-depth knowledge of front-end web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and popular frameworks/libraries (e.
., Angular, React, etc.).
Strong command of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) and NoSQL database management systems (MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.).
Experience with deployment and continuous integration technologies (GitlabCI).
Knowledge of Agile project management (Scrum or Kanban).
Ability to work independently and in a team, with a focus on problem-solving and adapting to changing situations.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
Proactivity and curiosity, along with a continuous desire to learn and develop professionally.
