The role We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Software Engineer to join our technology team in Málaga. In Malaga we are in the city center, opposite the Cathedral!Your responsibilities as a Software Engineer will be: US Customer-Centric Project Work (80%): Lead and contribute to the development of new features and enhancements specifically tailored to our US-based customers' needs. This involves comprehensive involvement in the feature development lifecycle, from concept to deployment, ensuring solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with customer expectations.Technical Debt Management (10%): Proactively tackle technical debt, enhancing the codebase for better performance, scalability, and maintainability. This involves regular code reviews, refactoring, and updates to ensure our technology stack remains state-of-the-art.Operational Support for US Customers (10%): Provide dedicated technical support during US business hours (12:00 - 20:00), addressing and resolving issues to ensure a seamless and effective user experience. Work closely with the support team to understand and swiftly respond to US customers' needs, implementing solutions that exceed their expectations.Skills, qualifications and interested you need to succeed in this role:Experience: 3-5 years of experience in software development, with a background in delivering high-quality solutions in a product company (preferably in a SaaS).Proficient in .NET framework and C# programming.Experienced with microservices architecture and developing REST APIs.Knowledge of database technologies, particularly MySQL and MongoDB.Familiar with message brokers like RabbitMQ.Proficient in using GitHub for version control and collaboration.Familiar with CI/CD practices (we use Jenkins and ArgoCD).Knowledgeable about modern DevOps approaches, such as Infrastructure as Code and observability/monitoring toolsExperience with cloud providers is a big plus (we use AWS services, for example EC2, S3, RDS, ElasticCache, and ELB).Growth Mindset: Eager to learn and improve, embracing challenges and feedback.Ownership & Proactivity: Capable of leading projects from start to finish and anticipating potential hurdles.Collaboration: Excellent team player, able to work seamlessly within the development team and with stakeholders.Communication: Strong communication skills, able to explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.What Benefits are in it for you?🤝 Salary based on your level of experience💊 Health insurance🌟 Career growth opportunities💪International, young and dynamic environment🏖️ Great office located at the heart of Málaga city👪 Work-life balance🧭 Hybrid working model and flexible working hours🍔 Lunch meeting once a week if you are up to join us🎉 Teambuilding activities
