About the team   The Security Team is the focal point for all security activities across Swiss Re.
We are responsible for cybersecurity engineering and operations, governance, risk and compliance.
We define and advance the company's security strategy.
As a part of the Security Team, the IAM Solutions squad provides a user-friendly experience for internal customers of Identity and Access Management services within Swiss Re.
We're looking for a software engineer to design and implement the elements of our application landscape.
In your role, you will…   •    Design and implement applications and components in our Identity and Access Management application landscape •    Work with QA colleagues to ensure solutions meet high expectations for reliability and availability  •    Work with Product Owner to ensure the user experience meets our users' high expectations •    Contribute to technical documentation and DevOps support of the solution •    Be someone who believes in continuous innovation, is curious and relentless in finding a better way everyday     Your qualifications   •     What we need from you o    3+ years of relevant work experience including complex projects in large organizations o    Experience with complex development projects using Java  o    A good understanding of multi-tier, microservice, Spring, RESTful-based applications, cloud technologies, containers o    Experience meeting non-functional requirements such as reliability, availability, performance o    Good communication skills in spoken and written English •     Nice-to-have o    A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or comparable knowledge o    Understanding of technologies related to information security and Identity & Access Management o    Experience with diverse IT technologies o    A good understanding of TypeScript, React, Angular, or other web UI technologies o    Experience with agile development and DevOps   #Li-hybrid   About Swiss Re   Swiss Re is one of the world’s leading providers of reinsurance, insurance and other forms of insurance-based risk transfer, working to make the world more resilient.
