With our unique technology at the core of our business, we have removed the need for a home visit and can offer tailored offers to all customers visiting our website.We make solar cheap by providing a platform where installers compete on price and quality to get assignments.We make solar available everywhere by quickly expanding our platform to new markets all over the world.We have come a long way since launching in 2016—we're in Norway, Sweden, France, Spain, Poland, Italy, Germany, Portugal, UK, Austria, Switzerland, The Netherlands and Belgium, and we won't stop expanding.About your roleYou will be in charge of localizing and implementing the global SEO strategy in Portugal and Spain. Your primary task will be to increase our awareness and create preference for the Otovo brand. This job is for you if you are a creative storyteller, you love creating content, and you also have strong knowledge of on page, off page and technical SEO. In your role as SEO Specialist you will continuously work on optimizing our content as well as monitoring and improving our online presence. Together with our Head of SEO and the local Heads of Marketing, you will set KPIs, analyze results and take actions. We are a growing international team and you will benefit from a highly experienced global network who are all happy to share ideas and work together to achieve our common goal of getting as many solar panels on as many roofs as possible.You will be responsible for increasing our awareness and creating preference for the Otovo brand in Portugal and Spain, through:Planning, implementing and managing our SEO strategy, increasing organic traffic as well as the conversion rate through this channelTackle all SEO branches, focusing on onpage optimizationSetting up new and managing existing landing pages and blog postsInsuring a correct technical background of the websiteTrack and report results.To be successful in this role:Must be a native Portuguese speaker with Spanish knowledgeCurrently based in Madrid or willing to relocateHigher education, preferred in marketing or communicationExcellent written and verbal communication skills2-3 years of marketing, communication, SEO and social media experience.Knowledge of SEO tools such as: Semrush, Ahrefs, Search Console, GA4, Tag ManagerYou are excellent at generating engaging contentStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesCapable of conducting keyword researches, competitive analysis, audits and content strategiesCapable of carrying out a link building strategyStrong collaboration skills - we're a closely knit team where everyone pitches in and helps out when needed.We would love it if you also have this:Comprehensive knowledge of tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, Tag Manager, Semrush, Hotjar and Ahrefs.Some knowledge of CRM tools like HubspotFamiliarity with Sanity, Ghost or other content management systemsExperience in Conversion Rate Optimization.What's in it for you?You'll get to be part of our journey.
