As a Senior Technical Program Manager in the Books Detail Page team, you'll drive complex technical initiatives that shape how millions of customers discover and interact with books on Amazon.
You'll be responsible for leading cross-functional efforts, managing technical dependencies, and ensuring successful delivery of critical features that enhance the customer experience.
ey job responsibilities- Own and drive end-to-end technical program execution for major initiatives- Partner with engineering teams to define technical requirements and architectural approaches- Manage cross-team dependencies and drive technical alignment across organizations- Create and maintain program roadmaps, identifying risks and mitigation strategies- Drive operational excellence and process improvements- Lead technical reviews and provide regular status updates to leadershipA day in the lifeAs a TPM, your day involves coordinating with multiple engineering teams, reviewing program metrics, and ensuring progress on key deliverables.
You'll facilitate technical design reviews, manage stakeholder communications, and work to remove blockers.
You'll spend time analyzing data to make informed decisions about program direction and prioritization.
You'll also work closely with product teams to ensure technical solutions align with business goals.
