SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER (PHARMACEUTICAL SECTOR)

Omega CRM Consulting is looking for a Senior Software Engineer that would like to collaborate with one of the top 15 global pharmaceutical companies. Job DescriptionThe ITMS Strategic Marketing and Healthcare Solutions (SMHS) team is seeking an eager, motivated self-starter who wants to grow technically and is excited about proactively supporting systems in this domain. Expectation is that this individual will want to become the IT subject-matter expert (SME) for these systems, including hands-on development and configuration of these systems in order to deliver quality releases to our business partners in a timely fashion.As a member of ITMS SMHS team, the individual will work for the DevOps Lectrona product team as a developer, being responsible for the analysis, planning, implementation, customization, enhancement, and support of the Grants Funding and Early Access systems.Tasks & Responsibilities- Be a developer supporting the Grants Funding and Early Access systems by keeping them updated and compliant.- Perform business analysis to gather requirements and other demands.-Translate business requirements into specifications.- Perform day to day troubleshooting and maintenance of the system.- Apply updates to the systems as necessary.- Create and maintain system documentation.- Design and implement technology best practices, guidelines, and processes.- Become a SmartSimple Cloud Configuration Specialist.- Provide support as required to ensure the availability and performance for the solutions and their environments.- Process/handle tickets created in the Service Management tool used at our client that are related to the Grants Funding and Early Access applications.Skills- Fluent English level, both written as verbal.- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, SQL.o Degree (completed or in progress) in Information Technology, Computer Sciences, or related field. - Skilled IT professional with at least 3 years of experience as a developer (or similar position), preferably in global companies or providing services in similar environments.- Experience in cloud solutions: development, configuration, and basic architecture.o Experience in development, support, and maintenance of complex systems.- Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, DevOps desirable but not mandatory) and ITIL (change and incident management) will be a plus.o Knowledge in JIRA or similar tools.- Knowledge in Service Now or similar tools.- Good attention to detail.- Positive, self-sufficient, and proactive attitude is a must.
